My Sunshine Specialist Disability Services offers a range of supports designed to help individuals live more independently and engage fully in their communities. Our services include compassionate in-home support to assist with daily living tasks, skill development and peer support to increase skill, build independence and social connections, and community access to encourage active participation in social, recreational, and educational activities. We also provide dedicated support coordination to help participants navigate the NDIS, connect with providers, and make the most of their plans. Every service is delivered with care, flexibility, and a strong focus on the unique needs and goals of each person.

My SSDS - Creating a service from extensive lived and professional experience.
My name is Sarah, and I have dedicated many years to working in the disability and healthcare sector. I am also a proud mother of two children who live with disabilities and are participants in the NDIS. My Sunshine Specialist Disability Services was born from both my professional experience and personal journey—one that has shown me firsthand the challenges families can face in accessing the right support.
Through my work in the sector and my own family’s experience, I recognised a need for services that are not only flexible and respectful but genuinely person-centred. I understand the emotional and practical hurdles involved in navigating the system and the impact it has when support falls short.
My Sunshine Specialist Disability Services was founded to fill that gap—to offer a service where individuals and families feel truly heard, valued, and empowered. Our mission is to provide tailored support that enables people to live the lives they choose, with confidence, dignity, and the right support behind them.
