- We offer a range of support for children and families across Yarra Ranges with the aim to strengthen parenting, engagement, community connections and social interactions for families with children 0-12 years.
- We provide a wide range of services, programs and referral pathways to specialist service providers to help children reach their full potential.

Strengthening Parent Support Program
The Strengthening Parent Support Program is for parents and carers who have a child:
- with a disability or developmental delay, and
- aged 0 to 18 years.
This free program helps parents connect with other families and local communities through:
- facilitator led and peer led support groups
- parenting education and information sessions
- individual support.

Dads in Families Foundation

- Affirm men’s roles in family and community welfare
DIDS (Dads in Distress)
- Location: Orwil St Community House

- Details: Peer-to-peer support group for dads experiencing trauma from family breakdown and separation (particularly custody or contact issues).
- Meets every Wednesday evening at 7:30pm
- Safe, non-judgemental support environment
Autism & Puberty – Key Resources
- Raising Children Network – Autistic Children Preparing for Puberty
- Practical advice on preparing autistic children for puberty using clear language, visuals, and social stories
- Covers topics like periods, body changes and handling tricky questions
Yellow Ladybugs – Body Safety and Protection Digital Resource
- Resource: Recognising and Responding to Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence
- Details: Peer-led, 60-page digital guide for autistic girls, teens and gender-diverse youth.
Covers:
- Body safety awareness, boundary-setting, online safety
- Considerations like masking, people-pleasing, interoception
- Strategies for discussing boundaries, consent, safe/unsafe behaviours
- Activities for meaningful conversations with young people
- Appendix with services, reporting info, and further reading
- Cost:
- Free for families, carers, and individuals (personal use)
- Small fee for professional use (funds go toward resource development)
